Brief

For my Alevel Media Studies we have the choice to make either:
A Music Video, with a CD cover and a magazine front cover
OR
A Film Trailer, along with a film poster and magazine front cover.

I will be working in a small group of two, including myself and Jessica Wilton, to produce a Film Trailer, along with a film poster and a magazine cover. We have decided to make it a fit in within the horror genre. We both find certain areas and aspects of this genre very interesting and would like to explore it further when creating our media product. I will be using this blog to record all my work and findings. To analyse horror film trailers i will be using 'youtube' to find various trailers which will help me when creating our film trailer.

'HORROR'- Horror fiction is a genre of fiction in any medium intended to scare, unsettle and horrify the audience. Historically, the cause of the "horror" experience has often been the intrusion of a disturbing supernatural element into everyday human experience. Since the 1960s, any work of fiction with a morbid, gruesome, surreal, or exceptionally suspenseful or frightening theme has come to be called "horror". Today horror is one of the most popular categories of film.
